Sessions generally take place outdoor at a specific location that we have decided on prior to the session. There is also an option of shooting in the privacy of your own home, but that requires a good amount of natural light entering your home. As a natural light photographer, I believe natural light is the softest and most beautiful, so it is essential to the amazing outcome of each image.
I suggest booking one month in advance to secure the date that works best for you.
If it rains or if we know it is going to be way too cold we will just reschedule for the next available day. I am always checking the weather and will be in constant contact with you if the weather is not cooperating for our session.

I take a retainer fee and it is due upon the signing of your contract. The retainer fee is 50% of your session fee and is non-refundable. The retainer fee is due within five days of booking to hold your date. I will send your an invoice when you are ready to book the date.

Images will be uploaded to your private online gallery within 30 days of the session. Your gallery is accessible for 30 days with unlimited downloads. If you need the gallery reloaded after it expires there is a $50 charge.
Every edited image is provided in color and black & white.
You do not receive all the photos from the session. I have high standards and some images do not make the cut. I assure you that you will see all of the best images from your session. However, if you want every image minimally edited I can provide that to you for an additional $750.
Typically, you do not choose which photos are edited from the session. As a photographer, I take pride in every image I release from my studio. When the session is complete I go through each and every photo and carefully select the best of the best. The best images are edited and provided to you in your private gallery for your selection. If you want to set up an appointment to view your RAW images in my home and select your edits, I can arrange that for an additional $100 per hour. Please be advised that your 30 day delivery time frame begins after you select your images if you choose to set a home appointment.
Digital files are provided through high-resolution digital download with print release.

I photograph in Cary, Raleigh, Durham, Morrisville, Apex and Holly Springs in the Triangle area. On the Crystal Coast, I photograph in Atlantic Beach, Pine Knolls Shores, Emerald Isle, Morehead City and Beaufort.
